Combining two extremely helpful functions, alarm and GMT, this elegant timepiece from Blancpain is a perfect companion for an international traveler to remind him of his arrangements and show him his local time wherever he goes. The useful alarm complication is activated by a push-piece on the case band which also activates an "On/Off" indicator at the one o'clock position on the dial. This function demands another barrel apart from the one powering the timekeeping mechanism and the power reserve for the alarm can be monitored via indicator on the dial. The automatic 1240H caliber boasts 36 jewels and has a 45-hour power reserve. It is nested inside a 40.30mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystal case back and water resistance up to 30m, mounted onto a black alligator leather strap lined with alzavel. The white dial with silvered 24-hour ring and applied stainless steel Roman numerals features central hours, minutes and second time zone hands along with sub-dial showing preset alarm time and a date window.
