Utilizing the new Breguet self-winding movement which incorporates a silicon escapement and a Breguet balance-spring, this magnificent timepiece houses a fabulous patented musical mechanism. A disc carrying the pins replaces the traditional music-box cylinder and alternately acts on the 15 metal teeth of the comb. A liquid metal membrane engine-turned by hand enriches this exceptional mechanism and serves to amplify the frequencies required to emit the tune.
The silver dial, which is connected to the pin-bearing disc, performs a complete turn during the 20 to 25 seconds while the tune is being played. Being made of 18K yellow gold the case contrasts wonderfully with the silver dial and is engraved with a musical stave. Lastly, the watch's case back is solid and the leather strap securely fastens to the wrist with a deployment clasp.
