The 50 Fathoms tag of the Blancpain 50 Fathoms watch is coined from the water resistance capability of the watch - It resists water to a depth of 300m/1000ft with a fathom being equal to 6 meters. The watch features a polished stainless steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel and back made from quality glare-proof sapphire crystal glass. The dial is black and features a date display between the 4 and 5 o'clock hour markers in addition to the compulsory hours, minutes, and seconds functions. The strap is also made from stainless steel and has a deployant clasp.
