A Brief History in Time

In honor of this accomplishment the company is setting up a traveling exhibition dedicated to a voyage of the spirit and values of the Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer. Coined as ``A tale of inspiration—unveiling 220 years of watchmaking Art`` it allows people to travel back in time through two centuries worth of evolution in the mastery of measuring time, how it has related to world events, public figures and works of art over the last two hundred plus years. One rare timepiece making an appearance in the show, among the other documents and old-fashioned watchmaking tools, is sure to be the ``Esmeralda``, a masterpiece of Constant Girard-Perregaux--the most famous edition of the Tourbillon. Whereas modern horology can be complex and astonishing, imagine building massively complex watches with hand tools and natural light. These historical artifacts are amazing in their own right and allow us to have a glimpse of these impressive relics of days gone by.
